11. Query Plan Analysis

The Query Plan tab come with integrated Plan Explorer functionality to give you dramatically enhanced

visibility into SQL execution plans. In the tab, you are given a list of all plans collected for Top SQL events

in a specified range. The plans with the highest cost operations are highlighted so you can easily see

which plans may lead to a performance problem. You view the plans and even make modifications to the

statements from inside the client. After you make the modifications, you can retrieve the estimated or

actual plans to determine how effective your changes will be.
